Life is busy for a new mom, but you can make room for exercise.

So you’re a new mom too, huh? Welcome, mama! I don’t need to detail how damn hard it is to get some “me” time as a new mom because you already know. IDK about you, but the bounce-back expectations I had were unrealistic. Raise your hand if you thought you’d be back in shape in no time. Yeah, if only it were that easy. Unless you have superhuman genetics, chances are you’re probably not where you once were — hello, hips — and feel like things will just never look the same. Instead of reminiscing the good times in those three sizes of too small skinny jeans crammed in the back of your dresser, let’s focus on the NOW and what you can do to get your sexy back both mentally and physically.

Exercise is “me time.”

And don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. You don’t need that kind of negativity. Taking 1 hour out of your day to move your body is so important. Not just for weight loss goals, but your mental health. Exercise releases those feel-good endorphins that carry through your day, and you literally just feel better.
